Prashtika MindCare – Opening Ceremony
March 22 @ 4:00 pm – 6:30 pm
We are delighted to announce the launch of the MindCare Programme, a new initiative dedicated to promoting emotional well-being, mental resilience, and compassionate support in our community.
Today, I would like to speak about something that truly determines our success — not just managing time, but managing our focus. Because the real secret to time management is not about doing more things, it is about doing the right things with complete concentration. And that is what I call the Focus Formula.
Many of us complain, “I don’t have enough time.”
But the truth is — we all have the same 24 hours. The difference lies in how focused we are during those hours.
Let me share a simple Focus Formula for effective time management:
- F – Fix Your Priorities
Start your day by identifying what truly matters. Not everything urgent is important. Ask yourself:
What are my top 3 tasks today?
What will bring me closer to my goal?
Clarity reduces confusion, and clarity improves focus.
- O – Organize Your Time
Plan your schedule in blocks. Allocate specific time for study, work, rest, and family. When you assign time to tasks, you give direction to your day instead of letting distractions control it.
- C – Cut Down Distractions
This is one of the biggest challenges today — mobile phones, social media, unnecessary conversations, and multitasking. Remember, multitasking reduces efficiency. When you work, work. When you rest, rest. Train your mind to stay present.
- U – Understand Your Peak Hours
Each person has a time when they are most productive — morning, afternoon, or evening. Identify your peak focus time and use it for your most important tasks.
- S – Self-Discipline and Self-Care
Focus is impossible without discipline. But discipline does not mean pressure. It means consistency. Sleep well, eat healthy, and take short breaks. A healthy mind sustains better focus.
The Focus Formula reminds us that time management is not about filling every minute — it is about meaningful engagement. Even one hour of deep focus is more powerful than three hours of distracted effort.
Success does not come from being busy. It comes from being intentional.
So from today onwards, instead of saying, “I don’t have time,” let us say, “I will focus on what matters.”
Because when focus improves, productivity increases.
When productivity increases, confidence grows.
And when confidence grows, success follows.
Thank you, and let us begin practicing the Focus Formula from today itself.
